Chandas is a timer application provided by Yukti (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how Chandas handles information when you use the application.
Chandas does not require an account and does not collect personal information for Yukti. It does not contain advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell user data.
Timer settings and session state are stored locally on your device. Chandas makes limited network requests to Expo’s update service to check for and download application updates.
Chandas stores the following information in the application’s private storage:
This information is used only to provide the timer’s features and restore an active session after the app or device restarts. It is not uploaded to Yukti or shared with other users.
Local information remains on your device until you change it, clear Chandas’s app data, or uninstall Chandas.
Chandas uses Expo Application Services to check for and download application updates. When an update check occurs, limited technical information is transmitted to Expo over HTTPS. This can include the app version, runtime version, operating-system platform, update identifiers, and standard connection information such as an IP address and request metadata.
This information is used only to select, secure, and deliver the correct application update. Yukti does not use it for advertising, profiling, or analytics. Expo processes this information as our service provider under Expo’s Privacy Policy.
Chandas does not otherwise send your timer settings or session activity over the internet.
Depending on your device and the features you enable, Chandas may request or use the following system capabilities:
You can revoke notifications, alarms, or Do Not Disturb access at any time in Android settings. Some related features may stop working after access is revoked.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising. Limited technical update-request information is processed by Expo solely to provide application updates, as described above. We may disclose information if required by law, but we do not possess your locally stored timer information.
Chandas relies on Android’s application sandbox to protect locally stored settings and uses HTTPS for update requests. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we limit processing to what is necessary to operate and update the app.
Yukti does not maintain user accounts or a server-side database of Chandas timer activity. You can delete all information stored by Chandas by clearing the app’s storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Expo retains technical service data according to its own privacy policy and retention practices.
Chandas is a general-purpose timer and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Chandas’s features or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be published at this location with a new effective date.
